Adding Cladding

Cladding is very easy to add, it’s great to work with, a good insulator and looks really nice when it’s done.

It was simply a case of cutting the wood to size and screwing it to the battens I had already prepared. I cut holes in the cladding for switches & sockets.

I got all of my cladding from Wickes as they were the cheapest place I found for it. Its worth checking the packs when you buy it as there are often cracked and knotted lengths that would be unusable
