The Luton Van

I spent a couple of months looking for vans, Lutons it would seem don’t come up for sale that often. In the end I found one that hadn’t been used for about 2 years and it was going for a really good price. Unfortunately the amount of hassle I had and money I spent to get the van running right far outweighed what I saved. If I did a conversion again I would buy the best base van I could afford.

After I bought the van much to my dismay it spent the first 2 months in the garage having various bits repaired or replaced. Plenty of time was spent sourcing parts or waiting for them to turn up but it was massively frustrating as I just wanted to start the conversion project and it felt like it was never going to be fixed.
